Susan P. Smith of Du Quoin
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Susan P. Smith, 82, of Du Quoin, passed away at 9:29 p.m. Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.<br /> Susan had been a homemaker. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Du Quoin.<br /> She was born March 3, 1935, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Jack F. and Lois A. (Allen) Perkins.<br /> She married Donald E. Smith Aug. 27, 1955 at Cleveland, Ohio, and he preceded her in death March 18, 2010.<br /> She is survived by one son, Timothy B. Smith and wife Denise of Du Quoin; one daughter, Terri L. Green, and husband Steve of Marion; and five grandchildren, Andrew Smith, Tyler Gilliam, Taylor Green, Zack Green and Jeremy Green.<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Allen Perkins.<br /> <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_737_871" tabindex="0">Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with the Rev.
