Mary J. Williams, 90, of Sun Lakes, Ariz., passed away at 8 p.m. Sunday, April 23, 2017.
Mary was born Aug. 6, 1926, in Du Quoin, a daughter to Clyde H and Edna M (Burris) Justice. She married Edward J. Williams June 7, 1952. Survivors include her sister, Ann Schumacher; her two daughters, Linda Kay Williams and Karen W. Bircher; her two sons, Mark E. Williams and David J. Williams; and a multitude of nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Without knowing what our Mom would like written, we found a quote in her handwriting:
Life is not a journey to the grave
With the intentions of arriving safely
In a pretty and well preserved body,
But rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, Totally worn out and proclaiming "Wow, what a ride!"
You have been loved and will be missed.
