<div class="PlainText">Marilyn Jacqueline "Jackie" Fleming, 91, of Du Quoin passed away at 10:25 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2017, at Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Du Quoin.<br /> Jackie had been a homemaker. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Du Quoin.<br /> She was born Feb. 2, 1926, in Du Quoin, the daughter of James M. and Alice (Kirkpatrick) Lively.<br /> She married Kenneth D. Fleming Sept. 27, 1947, in Old Du Quoin, and he preceded her in death Aug. 18, 2002.<br /> She is survived by three children, David Fleming and wife Jalena of Du Quoin, Vicky Holmes and husband Wayne of Du Quoin, and Dana Fleming and wife Rhonda of Tamaroa; daughter-in-law Georgia Fleming of Du Quoin; grandchildren Mike (Penni) Fleming, Michelle (Bernie) Kern, John (Missy) Holmes, Melissa Fleming, Joshua (Deanna) Fleming and Jeremy Fleming; great grandchildren Michael Fleming, Kenny (Becky) Fleming, Ashley (David) Sneed, Andrew Saunders, Haley Conner, Amanda (Dustan) Womble, Landon Kern, Ty Fleming and Dagan Fleming; great-great-grandchildren Sydney Fleming, Deidra Rodgers, Pierson Shelton, Willow and Marlow Womble, and Charli Fleming; many nieces and nephews; and her loving friends and caregivers at Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.<br /> She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one son, Charles Fleming; one grandson, Steven Fleming; four brothers; and five sisters.<br /> <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_1367_1497" tabindex="0">Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2017, at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with the Rev. Kent Eaton officiating.</span><br /> <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_1498_1576" tabindex="0">Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.</span><br /> Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.<br /> Friends may make memorials to Hospice of Southern Illinois or Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center Activity Fund.
