Arlene Keller, formerly of Carrier Mills

Arlene Keller, 79, of Mount Vernon, died Jan. 15, 2017, at her home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 10, at St. Jude Catholic Church in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, officiated by the Rev. Mark Reasoner. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.

Survivors include her daughter, Theresa (Todd) Stoneking of Mount Vernon; sons, John of Cedar Rapids, Larry of Marengo, Tim of Springville, and Ted Keller of Cedar Rapids; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends.

Arlene Scott was born May 4, 1937, in Green, Iowa, to John and Dorothy (Hall) Scott at their home. She married Glenn B. Keller on November 5, 1960, in Cedar Rapids. She worked at Rockwell Collins, retiring after 25 years.

She enjoyed crafting, and taking her crafts to the state fair, even winning multiple ribbons. Arlene and Glenn loved to travel in their retirement, visiting all of the western United States, and even Canada.

They moved to Carrier Mills, and returned to Iowa in 2011. She especially cherished spending time with family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and sisters, Lois and Laura.</group><group id="6430D9D9-55D6-439C-A5E8-695BF337D856" type="seoLabels"><seoLabels
