4-H members from Jackson, Perry and Randolph counties combined to bring the Perry County Livestock Show together at the Perry County Fairgrounds. More than 200 animals were shown between the three counties. The following day, all three counties came together for the Livestock Social and Auction at the Perry County Fairgrounds.
Dalton Pyatt of Pinckneyville was named Master of Showmanship, and Mariah Clark of Pinckneyville was awarded the Frank Piotrowski Outstanding Livestock Award. As the week went on, the 4-H members were nothing short of busy. Tractor driving again combined Jackson, Perry and Randolph counties, requiring 4-H members to navigate a tractor through an obstacle course. Grant Bigham of Pinckneyville was named champion.
Rounding out the show week was the Perry County General Show and Swine Premier. At the General Show, 4-H members were able to showcase their talents in hopes of making their way to state.
