Cutler woman charged with hitting parked vehicles

A Cutler woman, 42, was arrested after a Feb. 22 incident on East First Street in Cutler.

According to the Perry County Sheriff's Office, Stacy L. Edwards was driving a 2005 Chevrolet truck on East First Street when police say she veered off the roadway and struck two parked and unoccupied Dodges, causing major damage to all three vehicles.

Edwards then left the scene and was later located and apprehended by police, police say. She was taken to Perry County Jail and charged with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, improper lane usage, failure to report an accident, leaving the scene of an accident, driving while license suspended and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

The accident was reported at 4:17 p.m.
