Akin Grade School holds science fair

A handful of students are winners following Akin Grade School's annual science fair last week.

The fair, held Feb. 28, included more than 45 projects from students in kindergarten through eighth grade.

Winners from the respective classes went on to compete March 6 at the regional science fair at SIU.

Lily Rorer and Brianna Whitney were the sixth-grade winners. Cambri Dean and Kylea Wilkerson were the seventh-grade winners. Connor Faucet and Trinity Stuart were the eighth-grade winners and grand champions.
