Lady Panthers get wins over A-J, Carbondale

PINCKNEYVILLE - Kylee Kling drove in four runs to lead the Pinckneyville High School softball team to a 13-1 five-inning rout of Anna-Jonesboro on Thursday.

The Lady Panthers are now 6-2 overall and 2-0 in the SIRR Mississippi Division.

Mariah Clark and Daisy Dudek both had three hits and Lauren Jackson had two for Pinckneyville. Gleason and Clark both collected two RBIs.

Clark was also the winning pitcher with 10 strikeouts.

Then on Friday, Pinckneyville also picked up a 6-1 win over Carbondale after plating single runs in the first three innings and adding three in the seventh. Gleason had three hits and three RBIs, while Clark got the win in the circle with nine strikeouts.
