Cooper is a bundle of fun, who is good with kids

Cooper, a 70-pound, 2-year-old black lab, has an excellent temperament and is a friendly dog, getting along well with others. Cooper's previous owner surrendered him to the Humane Society, which gave him some TLC and a little medical attention, and now PCHS is looking for his new home.

Cooper is neutered, and is reported to be good in a home with children. His adoption fee is $175.

Please know that if you come to meet any of the dogs at the PCHS facility, they may be excited to see you and extra active. Many times, this is not a true picture of how they may act in a warm, safe home setting. We, as volunteers, often take our shelter dogs on home visits and they become calm and act like completely different animals. This pertains to potty habits and demeanor. Please realize that they need a chance to shine out of the shelter setting!

For questions about Cooper, email the shelter volunteer at pchsinfo@yahoo.com or go to www.perrycountyhumanesocietyil.com to apply.
