The following information was obtained from the police departments listed below. Note that arrests and charges are allegations only, not findings of guilt.

<h3 class="breakHead">SHERIFF'S OFFICE</h3>

Alexander R. Mathis, 23, of Ellis Grove, was arrested July 2 by Chester Police on a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear for leaving the scene of an accident. Released after posting $300 cash bond.

Leah D. Reed, 30, of Waterloo, was arrested July 3 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for no valid driver's license & criminal trespass to land. Bond amount is $1,500.

Larry O. Smith, 47, of Chester, was arrested July 3 by Chester Police on a St. Clair county warrant for failure to appear for driving while license suspended. Released after posting $1,000 cash bond.

Joshua D. Stacy, 32, of Steeleville, was arrested July 4 by Steeleville police for aggravated battery.

Chadrick B. Ferguson 31, Percy, was arrested July 4, by Illinois State Police for operating uninsured motor vehicle, Illegal Transportation of alcohol, improper use of registration or title, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia & a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a littering charge. Bond amount is $4,500.

Leslie L. Venus, 38, of Sparta, was arrested July 4 by Illinois State Police on a Washington County warrant for no insurance. Released after posting $150 cash bond.

Mark A. French, 40, if Collinsville, was arrested July 5 by Randolph County Sheriff's office for driving while license suspended, failure to report accident, operating uninsured motor vehicle.

Hannah D. Ruez, 23, of Evansville, was arrested July 5 by Randolph County Sheriff's Office for domestic battery.

Jarrett C. Hood, 36, of Walsh, was arrested July 5 by Sparta Police for unlawful possession of meth & a Randolph County warrant for failure to appear on a domestic battery charge. Bond amount is $10,000.

Allen L.D. Wittenborn, 46, of Baldwin, was arrested July 6 by Red Bud Police on a Randolph County warrant for unlawful possession of anhydrous ammonia. Bond amount is $5,000.

Linda L. Stroh, 59, of Red Bud, was arrested July 6 by Red Bud Police for domestic battery. Released after posting $150 cash bond.

Jeffrey A. Stegmann, 47, of Campbell Hill, was arrested July 6 by Chester Police for illegal transportation of alcohol, DUI & improper lane usage, possession of controlled substance. Released after posting $500 cash bond.

Katey J. Doyle, 19, of Sparta, was arrested July 6 by Sparta Police for obstructing justice & possession of weapon by a felon.

Jordan D. Vuichard, 31, of Sparta, was arrested July 6 by Sparta Police for driving revoked, possession of weapon by felon & possession of stolen vehicle.

Gary D. Reynolds, 26, of Sparta, was arrested July 7 by Chester Police for interfering with reporting domestic violence, domestic battery, criminal damage to property & 2 counts of aggravated battery.

Jeremy L. Donagher, 35, of Steeleville, was arrested July 9 by Steeleville Police for domestic battery. Is incarcerated.

Weston R. Baird, 21, of Sparta, was arrested July 3 for retail theft. He was given a City Court date.

Anthony T. Johnson, 40, of Sparta, was cited July 3 for driving while license suspended. He ws given a City Court date.

Timothy A. Coleman, 43, of Sparta, was arrested July 6 for driving while license revoked. He posted bonded and was released.

Jerome A. Kern, 20, of Marissa arrested June 24 for battery. He posted bond and was given a Randolph County Court date.

Justin L. Risley, 23, of Tilden arrested June 24 for driving while license suspended. He was given a City Court date.

Shane M. Jones, 33, of Sparta, was cited June 25 for battery. He was given a City Court date.

Kiera A. McNear, 29, of Sparta, was cited June 27 for driving while license suspended. McNear was given a City Court date
