Memorial Hospital awards Sparks Employee of Quarter

Memorial Hospital CEO Brett Bollmann named Cindy Sparks Employee of the Quarter for the Second Quarter 2018 during a ceremony on July 13.

Sparks has worked at Memorial Hospital for almost 16 years. She is an admitting clerk/switchboard operator. When asked what she likes most about working at Memorial Hospital, Sparks replied "The people I work with on a daily basis.

"My co-workers are so helpful and supportive and I have made so many friends over the years I have been here," Sparks added.

Co-workers wrote, "She knows her job inside and out and is the go to person for any departmental issues. She puts in extra time many weekends and remains professional and pleasant. She is a huge asset to this facility and deserves this award."

Sparks live in Percy with her husband Alex and their "furbaby," Piper. When she isn't working she spends time baking, making crafts, going camping, fishing, trapshooting and playing golf.

Sparks received a personal plaque, cash prize and parking spot of her choice for the next three months.
