TRIVIA NIGHT
Mark your calendars for the annual Life Savers/History Club Trivia Night! This year it will be held in the high school cafeteria on Friday, September 28. The doors will open at 6 p.m. and the game will begin at 70.
This year's theme is "Through the Decades." Admission is $10 per person, and teams can consist of up to eight people. Food and nonalcoholic beverages are welcome.
YEARBOOKS
There are extra 2017-2018 yearbooks for sale in the lab, see Ms. Pyatt if you are interested, they are $40.
Yearbooks for the 2018-2019 year may be purchased online at jostens.com. You will save a money and have free incentives. This is available for high school and grade school yearbooks. If you prefer to buy at school, they will be available in February for the grade school and March for the high school.
TRICO INVITATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Round Robin Format, 6 teams. Trophies will be awarded for 1st and 2nd place.
Each session will begin at 5 p.m. each night with the next game starting approximately 15 minutes after the conclusion of the prior game. Approximate game times: 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 p.m.
Matches will be the best of three games, played to 21, with the third game played to 15 with a cap at 15.
Tiebreakers will be decided first by head to head competition, opponent's average points allowed per match for the tournament, and finally a coin toss.

SEPT. 18: Marissa vs Chester, Chester vs Okawville, Okawville vs Trico, Trico vs Sparta, Sparta vs Steeleville SEPT. 19: Chester vs Steeleville, Steeleville vs Okawville, Okawville vs Sparta, Sparta vs Marissa, Marissa vs Trico.
SEPT. 20: Okawville vs Marissa, Marissa vs Steeleville, Steeleville vs Trico, Trico vs Chester, Chester vs Sparta
2018 HERRIN INVITATIONAL VOLLEYBALL TOURNAMENT
Sixteen-team tournament with 4 pools of 4 teams each. Top 8 teams will play two additional matches. The winners of the pools will advance to a championship semifinal, the second place finishers will advance to a consolation semifinal/final.
In teams opening round matches, warm-ups will be 2-5-5, all other warm-ups will be 2-3-3. Matches will be 2 out of 3. The first two games will be to 25, win by 2, with no cap. (Score will begin at 4 to 4) The third game will be to 15, with no cap.
Order of finish in Pool Play will be determined in the following manner: Match record; winner of head to head; Game record; Total games point differential; Most points scored in worst loss; Coin toss. Once there is a tie involving more than two teams, and you move down a category to determine place, you will not move backup to determine the following place.

STEELEVILLE WARRIOR BENEFIT SCRAMBLE
Help support the Steeleville High School Golf program at the 24th annual four-person scramble beginning at 9 a.m. Sept. 15 at the Pyramid Oaks Golf Course, Percy.
The Warrior Golf Team invites you to support the program by sponsoring a team in the tournament or by being a Platinum, Gold, or Silver sponsor.
Entry fee is $240 per team. Carts may be rented at the course for $30. Private carts are welcome.
