Four Chester men charged with robbery

Four Chester men have been arrested in connection with a robbery at Ol' Farmhouse Restaurant in downtown Chester on Aug. 4, according to Chester police.

Brandon J. Quihuis, 26; Jakob Crabtree, 18; and William L. Morefield, 20, all of Chester were arrested Sept. 21 and charged with aggravated robbery in connection to their involvement in the incident, according to a release from the Chester police Department.

A fourth man, Logan D. Wahl, 19, of Chester, was arrested Sept. 21 and also charged with aggravated robbery. All four are in Randolph County jail on $75,000 bond.

Police said Ol' Farmhouse Restaurant owner Jodi Mehrer reported Aug. 4 that she had been robbed as she left her restaurant at closing time. Mehrer told police an unknown individual approached her from behind and ripped her purse off her shoulder. Mehrer received minor injuries as a result, according to the release.

The purse contained cash, identification information and miscellaneous personal property, police said.

Police believe they have all of the involved parties in custody.
