Colonial Life celebrates grand opening in Marion

Add Colonial Life Insurance Company to the list of new businesses in Marion.

A grand opening was celebrated last week with a ribbon cutting and open house at 3303 1/2 Commercial Road.

Office manager Sherri Wiegand represented the company at the ceremony, which was attended by Mayor Anthony Rinella, State Rep. Dave Severin and 35 local business leaders, including members of the Marion Chamber of Commerce.

The dedication was conducted by Pastor/Evangelist Louis James of Bastrop Louisiana, with a ministry in Southern Illinois.

Pastors Wayne and Barbara Gardner of West Frankfort, Mayor Anthony Rinella, State Representative Dave Severin and 35 local business leaders were also in attendance.

Lunch was provided by KB Bar B Que and dessert. Tours, networking with staff, and prizes were given away during the event.
