Season ends for Panthers

CARLYLE - Caleb Darr accounted for four touchdowns in the first half alone to lead Carlyle to a 40-0 win over Pinckneyville in the final week of the prep football regular season Friday night.

Darr had two rushing touchdowns and two more passing to give Carlyle a 34-0 lead at the half.

Darr's first score came on a 1-yard run with 10:07 left in the first quarter, which ended with the Indians ahead 8-0.

Pinckneyville finished its season with a 3-6 record.</group><group id="FB1F3C38-631A-43E5-87C0-A0CD02B32152" type="seoLabels"><seoLabels>
