It's Bingo time at the Logan Community Center
The biggest annual fundraiser is returning for the 30th year to the Logan Community Center this weekend.
The Annual Merchant Bingo will be held on Saturday beginning at 6 p.m.
The Community Center, housed in what was the former Logan Grade School, is kept alive by community donations and fundraising efforts.
When Logan Grade School closed in 2005, Teresa Beasley stepped up to keep the building useful as a community center. She has been responsible for paying for everything, including the many repairs the nearly century-old building required.
Saturday's Bingo event is one of the ways that Beasley keeps the building going.
She said there are "lots of items" that have been donated by area merchants.
She also noted that those playing and attending must be at least 13 years of age or older.
Bingo cards are $2,00 each. Concessions are available including taco salad, barbecue, hot dogs, nachos and soda.</group><group id="39C0489B-85FF-4F0A-BF5C-53643B1218F4" type="seoLabels
