Lady Panthers roll past Murphysboro

MURPHYSBORO - Megan Breslin scored 12 points and Lily Tanner had 10 as Pinckneyville rolled to a 48-28 non-conference win at Murphysboro on Thursday night.

Pinckneyville jumped out to a 16-7 lead and was up 30-15 at halftime. The lead was extended with an 11-6 run in the third quarter.

Elaine Shaneyfelt and Bella Pasquino both added nine points for the Lady Panthers, who improved to 10-8 with the win.

Pinckneyville hosts Sparta on Tuesday.
