CASA of Williamson Co. benefits from HUB Bash

MARION - CASA of Williamson County received a big financial boost Saturday in Marion thanks to the Third Annual Fun HUB Bash held at the city's popular recreation and fitness center on West Main Street.

The HUB partnered once again with Inflatable Fun of Herrin to offer kids and their families an afternoon of fun at the gym with bounce houses, slides, games and other activities with all monies charged for admittance to the event benefiting Court Appointed Special Advocates for children in Williamson County.

The very first Fun HUB Bash was the brainchild of Inflatable Fun owner Andrew Camarato of Herrin who said, "We're in the business of entertaining kids and my wife and I just wanted to give back a little, and we decided that CASA was the one to help."

When he approached HUB management with the idea, they quickly jumped on board.

HUB Marketing Director Hilary Holdinghausen is quick to praise Camarato and his wife, Yvonne, for their generosity.

"They bring their inflatables, staff and donate it all to make this happen and we here at The HUB are happy to donate the space and our own staff to make it happen."

It really helps CASA, according to Nanette Vaughn, executive director of that group.

"Outside of our own fundraising events throughout the year, this has become one of the really important fundraisers for us and we're so grateful to everyone who makes it happen."

Inflatable Fun owner Andrew Camarato applied a temporary pirate tattoo to the hand of Austin Sizemore, 4, Saturday at the Third Annual Fun HUB Bash for CASA of Williamson County. The Marion boy was there with his mother, Lori, and his 7-year old sister, Autumn. Ceasar Maragni photo
