PCHS announces state scholars for senior class

PINCKNEYVILLE - The Illinois Student Assistance Commission has recognized six PCHS seniors in the Class of 2020 as Illinois State Scholars: Olivia Buza, Lauren Jackson, Kailey Lacy, Mercedes Moll, Miranda Skorch, and Grant Tanner.

The honorary recognition is based on a student's ACT or SAT score, class rank, and grade-point average. Approximately the Top 10 percent of students in Illinois high schools are announced as State Scholars each year.

A total of 89 students make up the PCHS Class of 2020.
