Logan spikers continue hot streak

ROBINSON - The John A. Logan College volleyball team remained perfect within Great Rivers Athletic Conference play at 7-0 following a four-set road win over Lincoln Trail Wednesday evening.

The Vols won by the scores of 25-23, 25-13, 20-25 and 15-15.

Bailey Below paced the Logan offense with 13 kills and Kameryn Sillmon followed with 11. Lexie Barnes led in assists with 23. Alanis Below was tops in defensive digs with 22. Kim Hall recorded six service aces. As a team, the Vols notched 12 blocks.

On Tuesday, Logan won in straight sets at home over Vincennese: 25-14, 25-16, 25-17.

In this match, Hall finished with eight kills to lead the team, Krista Rhodes and Bailey Below pitched in four kills. Bailey Below also delivered 12 assists. Hall had six service aces and a team-high 13 digs. Alanis Below followed with 11 digs.

Now 16-5 overall, JALC returns to action Monday at home against Wabash Valley.
