Present-day royalty, and a royal welcome for the Class of 1969

It was a Homecoming to remember. A week of spirit, good natured competition, of royalty and fun with friends and classmates. On Friday night, the varsity football Indians made mincemeat of the hapless team from Vienna/Goreville and on Saturday, everything glittered for the Homecoming dance.

The Chester High School Class of 1969 turned out in force 50 years after they graduated from these hallowed halls. The group of 50 classmates (50% of the graduating class), along with their spouses attended a dinner and program Saturday at the Chester Knights of Columbus Hall. Vicky Beers photo
