Pet of the Week Senior pup Kobee would love a new home
"Kobee here! I am a senior boy at 9 years old and would love to be your snuggle buddy! I only weigh 25 pounds and it's the perfect size. I seem to be potty trained since I hardly ever have accidents in my kennel.
I have an interesting story ... I was adopted from PCHS years ago and got away from my new family. I showed up a couple of months ago at animal control after playing hard to get. I am a little timid and can be the typical old man, but I am ready for some human love!
I would probably do best with older kids who know when to leave me be when I don't feel like socializing ... no little ones. I deserve a good home to spend the rest of my days in."
Kobee's vaccinations are up to date and he is neutered. His adoption fee is $175.
Please know that if you come to meet any of the dogs at our facility, they may be excited to see you and extra active. Many times, this is not a true picture of how they may act in a warm, safe home setting.
We, as volunteers, often take our shelter dogs on home visits and they become calm and act like completely different animals. This pertains to potty habits and demeanor. Please realize that they need a chance to shine out of the shelter setting!
If you have specific questions about Kobee, email the shelter volunteer at pchsinfo@yahoo.com or go to www.perrycountyhumanesocietyil.com to apply.
