Buena Vista donates $500 to CHS hoops programs

No contestant made a half-court shot at the recent Chester Invitational Tournament, so Buena Vista National Bank has donated the $500 prize money to the Chester High School girls and boys basketball programs.

Buena Vista put up the $500 during the Chester Invitational Tournament. During halftime of the three games in which the Yellow Jackets competed, contestants were chosen to attempt a half-court shot. Nobody got the ball through the hoop.

BV Bank decided to split the $500 equally between the girls and boys basketball programs.
