Du Quoin police blotter
The following information was obtained from the Du Quoin Police Department, covering the dates of Oct. 9-15. Note that arrests and charges are allegations only, not findings of guilt. People listed as incarcerated may no longer be in jail.
Friday, Oct. 9
• Jared M. Cook, 23, of Du Quoin, was arrested on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear in court on an operating an uninsured motor vehicle charge. Was jailed.
• Sean M. Gibson, 26, of Carterville, was cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle; was given Promise to Comply.
Sunday, Oct. 11
• Stanley M. Clarry, 65, of Du Quoin, was arrested on a Perry County warrant charging possession of methamphetamine. Was jailed.
• Alexander N. Sauer, 37, of Carbondale, was cited with duty of due care/speed; was given a Promise to Comply.
Allison A. Webb, 28, of Mulkeytown, was charged with disobeying a traffic control device, DUI-A2 and DUI-A1. Was released when she posted a driver's license and $100 cash bond.
Monday, Oct. 12
Austin M. Heatherly, 23, of Du Quoin, was arrested on a Perry County warrant for failure to appear in court on a traffic-related charge. Was jailed.
• Aniha Marie Taborn, 18, of Du Quoin, was charged with driving while license suspended; posted $250 cash bond and was released.
• Bonnie L. Williams, 68, of Du Quoin, was cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle; was given a Promise to Comply.
Tuesday, Oct. 13
• Clinton Waters, 24, of Du Quoin, was arrested on a Perry County warrant charging failure to appear in court on a dangerous drugs charge. Was jailed.
• David E. Freeland, 53, of Benton, was cited with operating an uninsured motor vehicle; was given a Promise to Comply.
Wednesday, Oct. 14
•Eric R. Haley, 23, of Du Quoin, cited with speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle; was given a Promise to Comply.
