Marion woman sentenced for retail theft

MARION - Williamson County State's Attorney Brandon Zanotti announced the sentencing of a Marion woman last week.
On March 5, Reva C. Warnsman, 35, pleaded guilty to felony retail theft, a class 3 felony, and was sentenced to two years in the Illinois Department of Corrections (DOC).
On April 6, 2018, Warnsman was found to be shoplifting at the Target store in Marion, and was arrested once police arrived. Warnsman had stolen merchandise in excess of $300 in value.
Warnsman has a criminal history, including a prior conviction for retail theft in Jackson County. She also currently has a pending theft case in Jackson County.
"I would like to thank Assistant State's Attorney Luke Palmer, the Marion Police Department, and the store security staff at Target for their diligent efforts in this case," said Zanotti.
