Randolph Society Foundation postpones Sunday's Class of 2020 reception
In the interests of public health, the Randolph Society Foundation Board is postponing Sunday's reception for the Class of 2020 honorees.
"We look forward to rescheduling the reception in the future once the coronavirus has settled down," said Chairman Marc Kiehna in a statement released Thursday.
Kiehna said the board took the advice of Randolph County Sheriff Shannon Wolff, the Randolph County Health Department and county board chairman Dave Holder.
"We are sensitive to the health of our supporters and will let everyone know a date in the future," Kiehna said.
This year's honorees are Irvin Peithmann and Ruth Gilster (as one honor); Thomas Mather; Marie Rouensa; Percy Clerc and William Hayes. You can read their stories at www.randolphsociety.org.
