Donate Kleenex for schools

The American Legion Auxiliary in Chester is conducting a Kleenex drive through Nov. 20 to help out local schools.

Kleenex and other brands of facial tissues are needed for both students and teacher at all four schools - Chester Grade School, St. Mary's Catholic School, St. John School and Chester High School.

"There is a big collection box in the lobby of the American Legion and donors can drop off their Kleenex packages anytime during operational hours," said Farida Hollaway. "The project is being conducted by the members of the Auxiliary, but we also welcome and encourage donations from the community."

The drop-off box will be available during the Veterans Day ceremony Thursday, Nov. 11, so bring your donation along.
