First United Methodist recognized as Bright Spot

First United Methodist Church in Carbondale has been recognized with a Bright Spot Award from Keep Carbondale Beautiful, a local affiliate of the national nonprofit Keep America Beautiful. The colorful flowers at the corner of West Main Street and North University Avenue make stopping at the red light there an enjoyable experience.
