Veterans Memorial prepares for 'Remembrance'

PERRYVILLE, Mo. - Work continues at the Missouri's National Veterans Memorial in preparation for the "Mark of Remembrance" open house from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday, March 25.

Visitors will be able to put their personal message on the new America's Vietnam Wall concrete infrastructure wall before the large granite panels are installed. The AVW is a full-scale replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C.

There will be chili and light refreshments available at the open house. The MNVM gift shop will also have commemorative T-shirts and patches for sale.
