Nancy M. Keith Conner

Nancy M. Keith Conner, 78, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:25 p.m. Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the Fairview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center in Du Quoin.

Nancy had worked in the kitchen at Marshall Browning Hospital and as an admitting clerk at Pinckneyville Community Hospital. She had also worked for the State of Illinois. Nancy was of the Baptist faith.

She was born April 26, 1936 at Pinckneyville, Ill., the daughter of Gerald and Violet (Gossman) Bass.

She married Marvin Keith and then married Howard Conner.

She is survived by one daughter - Janis Chandler of Tamaroa, one son - Marion Glenn Keith of Du Quoin, five grandchildren - Lynn Rheinecker, Jane Hock, Maci Chandler, Grant Keith and Kelcey Keith, two great grandchildren - McKenna Hock and Ayden Hock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother - Jerry Bass and one sister - Mary Ann Daffron.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2014 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Jim Endsley officiating.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to Celtic Hospice or the American Cancer Society and will be accepted at the funeral home.
