Rosemary Nimmo

Rosemary Nimmo, 83, of Christopher, Ill., passed away Wednesday, Nov. 21, 2012 at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.

She was a homemaker and of the Jehovah Witness faith.

Mrs. Nimmo was born Sept. 24, 1929 in Grand Tower, Ill., the daughter of Willard and Katie (Glodo) Clover. She married Edwin LaVern Nimmo.

Surviving are her children, Skipper and Carol Nimmo of Du Quoin Ill., Kathy and Bucky Miller of Christopher Ill., Mark and Kay Nimmo of DeSoto Ill. and Bobby Nimmo of Grand Tower Ill.; grandchildren, Tracy and Steve Thomson, Alisia and Tim Stevens, Mark Eugene Nimmo, Skipper E. Nimmo Jr., Robbin and Mark Bruno, Buddy and Julie Miller, Jason and Tinna Nimmo, Casey Nimmo and Misty, Katie, Cassidy, Danni, Dusty Nimmo, Amanda Rose Ecbert, Roy Waylon Nimmo; 15 great-grandchildren and one brother, Ralph Clover of Grand Tower, Ill.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one son, Roy Wade Nimmo.

Memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 1 at 2 p.m. at Jehova Witness Kingdom Hall on Route 14 in Du Quoin with her grandson-in-law, Mark Bruno, officiating.

Interment will be in Grand Tower, Ill.
