Du Quoin Middle School Lady Warriors win volleyball tournament

The DMS eighth-grade Lady Warriors dominated action at the Mt. Vernon Volleyball Tournament over the weekend, losing just one set and finishing 3-0 in tournament play to capture first place. <br />The Lady Warriors opened with a hard fought win over Centralia. After dropping the first set, 25-10, Du Quoin rebounded with straight set wins, 25-23, 15-12, to win the first match. <br />The win would prove crucial as Centralia would finish second in the round robin styled tournament. <br />DMS cruised from that point on, dominating its final two opponents and not dropping a set. <br />The Lady Warriors followed up with a two-set sweep over Benton, 25-6, 25-16, and followed up with another strong performance over Mt.
