Obituary for Dorothy Rednour
DOROTHY REDNOUR, 91, of South Elgin, formerly of Chester, passed away Monday, August 24 at Tower Hill Nursing Home in South Elgin.
<span>She was born to the late Henry and Hilda (nee Wolter) Kipp, Jr. on March 20, 1924 in Wine Hill. </span>
<span>Dorothy married Dale W. Rednour on July 18, 1942 in Steeleville. He preceded her in death on December 10, 2007. </span>
<span>For many years, Dorothy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester and currently was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church Elgin.</span>
<span>She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary in Chester, Illinois and the AFSCME Sub-Chapter 56.</span>
Survivors include:
<span>Son-in-law Earl Wittenbrink of Huntley. Two Grandchildren, Alecia (Charles) Winterstein of Brighton, Mich. and Keith (Veronica) Wittenbrink of Elgin.</span>
<span>Six great-grandchildren: Tim (Teresa) Winterstein of Hanoi, Vietnam; Elizabeth (Clayton) Tomasino of Plainfield, Ind.; Amanda (Gary) Middendorf of Chester;</span><span> Thomas J. Winterstein of Brighton, Mich.; Regena Rossobillo of Chicago and Trevor D. Wittenbrink of Elgin.</span>
<span>Six great-great grandchildren: Meleyna and Henry Winterstein; Eliam and Leila Tomasino; Kinsley and Katelyn Middendorf and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.</span>
