Obituary for Diana Westerman

ELLIS GROVE - Diana Westerman, 50, of Ellis Grove, passed away at 7:03 a.m. Saturday, October 10, 2015, at her home in Ellis Grove, Illinois.

She was born March 20, 1965 in Chicago, Illinois the daughter of Clayton T. and Ruby L. (Carter) Barnett. Diana married Dale A. Westerman on September 14, 1985 at West Point, Ill.

Diana was a Homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in West Point, Ill.

She is survived by her husband: Dale Westerman, Ellis Grove; 2 daughters: Daysha Westerman and Kacy Westerman, both of Ellis Grove; Mother-in-law: Wilma Westerman, Steeleville; Sister and Brother-in-law: Judy and David Eaton, Steeleville; Sisters: Louise Sizemore, Cincinnati, Ohio, Carolyn Wendell, Willisville and Sharon (Ron) Holyfield, Pinckneyville and Sister-in-law: Bonnie Barnett, DuQuoin.

Diana is preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Thomas Clayton Barnett.

Funeral services are to be held Tuesday, October 13, at 11a.m. at Immanuel Lutheran Church, West Point, Ill., with Rev.William F. Engfehr III officiating.

Burial followed at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, West Point. Visitation will be today at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. and on Tuesday from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and then from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the church.

Memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
