Cleta M. Bollmann
Cleta M. (Craig) Bollmann, 84, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 7:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 23, 2013 at her home in Campbell Hill.
Cleta was born in Cutler, Illinois on Sept. 30, 1928, the daughter of James R. and Julia A. Thompson Craig. She married Clemens C. Bollmann on Oct. 6, 1969. He preceded her in death in 1989.
Cleta was retired from Spartan Printing. She was a member of the St. Peter's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill, American Legion Auxiliary Post #1096, Campbell Hill; Elkville Crime stoppers and was a certified Election Judge. She was the manager of Salty Dogs Country Western band. Cleta worked at the jam session at Elkville Civic Center on Monday nights. She sent letters and cards of encouragement to ill people every week. Cleta loved to go dancing and always made food to give to people. She was a free spirit and had a very kind heart.
Cleta is survived by her sisters, Annabell McDonald of St. Louis, Mo. and Grace Ehlers of Campbell Hill; several nieces, nephews and cousins and the Piper family of Elkville.
Cleta was also preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and three sisters.
Memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 29, 2013 at the St. Peter's Lutheran Church at Wine Hill with Rev. Laura Kamprath officiating. Memorials may be given to St. Peter's Lutheran Church. To sign the guestbook visit www.wilsonsfuneralhome.net.
