BGS teachers earn funds working at McDonald's

The second grade teachers from Benton Grade School added a few duties to their agenda recently.

The staff members took on work duties at the local McDonald's on Aug. 23 to raise classroom funds.

Jennifer Fitzpatrick, who teaches art at BGS, said "many students brought their families to be served by the teachers."

McDonald's rewarded their hard work with a donation of $890.

Fitzpatrick said the money will be used for field trips and other classroom needs.
