Edrie Imogene Stanley

Edrie Imogene Stanley, 88, of Du Quoin, passed away at 8:00 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 6, 2013 at the Fair Acres Nursing Home in Du Quoin.

Imogene had worked at A & P Store, Forrest City Garment, Du Quoin Packing Company and Fairview Nursing Center. She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin.

She was born Sept. 28, 1924 at Du Quoin, Ill., the daughter of Martin E. and Letha J. (Kelley) Stanley.

She is survived by one sister - Dorothy Cleo Rice of Du Quoin, one brother - Ray Stanley of Du Quoin and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Bro. Dennis Fitzsimmons and Bro. Gaylen Holden officiating.

Friends may call from Noon until the time of service on Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Old Du Quoin Cemetery at Du Quoin.

Friends may make memorials to the Gospel Assembly Church in Du Quoin and will be accepted at the funeral home.
