Steeleville firefighters respond to grass fire

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Steeleville firefighters responded to a grass fire that was reported at 11:45 a.m. on Tuesday at 11206 Substation Road.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">According to Steeleville Fire Chief Rich Reitz, property owner Brad Farris was burning trash and the fire spread to nearby grass and a small tool shed.</span>

<span style="font-weight: 400;">Reitz reported the shed was destroyed, but it was minimum property loss as the shed was not in use. Firefighters were on scene for approximately 40 minutes.</span>
