Man gets prison time for using woman's missing debit card
A Williamson County man has been sentenced two and a half years in prison for unlawfully using a woman's debit card last December at Carbondale Walmart.
Jackson County State's Attorney Mike Carr says Robert L. Blair, 50, of Herrin pleaded guilty to the charge last week in Jackson County Circuit Court.
According to Carr, on Dec. 5, a Carbondale woman reported to police that her debit card was missing, and that someone had used it without her permission at Walmart. Using surveillance footage, Carbondale Police identified Blair as the suspect.
Following his prison term, Blair will be required to serve one year of mandatory supervised release.
