Norma Eloise Dintelman

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[Norma Eloise Dintelman, age 83, of Steeleville, Ill., formerly of Du Quoin, Ill., passed away on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 5:07 a.m. in Sparta Community Hospital, Sparta, Ill.

Eloise was born on Jan. 23, 1929 in Du Quoin, Ill., a daughter to Walter A. "Dig" and Vera D. (Norman) Hill. On Oct. 24, 1948, she married Benny F. Dintelman in Du Quoin, Ill. and he preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 1986. She was a member of First Christian Church, Du Quoin, Ill. and had worked for Mallory, Du Quoin, Ill. Eloise worked as a reading teachers- aid at Sparta Grade School, Sparta, Ill. and volunteered at the Peace Lutheran Church Food Pantry, Steeleville, Ill. She enjoyed painting, crafting, and cooking and dearly loved caring for her family, especially her grandchildren.

Eloise is survived by four sons, David (Cassie) Dintelman of Du Quoin, Ill., Robert Dintelman of Orlando, Fla., Richard (Lea) Dintelman of Steeleville, Ill. and Jon (Shelley) Dintelman of Steeleville, Ill.; one brother, Maurice "Babe" (Renetta) Hill of Du Quoin, Ill.; three grandchildren, Matt, Andy and Aidan and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and three brothers, Norman Hill, Charles Hill and James Hill.

Funeral services were held at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Monday, March 26, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor S. Blake Duncan officiating. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Park, Du Quoin, Ill.

Friends called at Pyatt Funeral Home, Du Quoin, Ill. on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.
