The motorcycle is registered to Russell R. Asbury, of Chester. Officers searched the area for Asbury and found a trail of oil leading up Valley Street.

Asbury was previously known by officers to live at the corner of Servant and Valley streets. Officers located Asbury at his residence and observed him to have minor injuries, mostly abrasions.

Asbury reportedly told officers that the motorcycle slid on the oil that was spilling from the machine, causing the accident. No citations were issued at the scene and the accident was reported at 9:06 p.m.
