Marion Police Blotter

All case information was provided by the Marion Police Department. All cases should be viewed as charges only.

• Tyrone Williamson, 20, of Marion, was arrested on the charges of criminal trespass to state-supported property and resisting/obstructing a police officer in the 1200 block of South Monroe Street on July 30.

• Nicholas Garland, 34, of Marion, was arrested and charged with criminal damage to property in the 300 block of Lingale Drive on July 28.

• Joshua Hendrickson, 37, of Marion, was arrested on the charges of driving while license revoked, resisting arrest and two counts of possession of a controlled substance in the area of Reeves and Fair Streets on July 28.

• Delante Purdiman, 22, of Marion, was arrested on charges of possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of ammunition by a felon, unlawful use of a weapon and driving while license revoked in the area of Boulevard Street on July 28.

• Dakota Holmes, 20, of Creal Springs, was issued a citation on the charge of possession of drug paraphernalia in the area of Russell and Main Streets on July 30.
