Ronald J. Kringer

Ronald J. Kringer, 80, of Pinckneyville, passed away at 6:15 A.M., Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Friendship Manor Health Care Center in Nashville, IL.

Ronald had worked as a master electrician at Consol #3 Mine, Amax Mine and Captain Mine. He was a member of the Philadelphia Baptist Church in Du Quoin. He was a member of UMW of A. Ronald was a United States Navy veteran.

He was born July 17, 1935 at Centralia, IL, the son of Howard and Ann (Mentler) Kringer.

He married Rosalie Millikin on December 24, 1955 at Little Vine Church in Tamaroa and she survives.

He is survived by his wife of Pinckneyville, four children - Kimberlee Cummins and husband David of Paducah, KY, Kathy Morton of Pinckneyville, Kelli Moss and husband Mike of Pinckneyville, and Jon Kringer and wife Jennifer of Sesser, six grandchildren - Carrie Pate and husband Jeff, Christopher Morton and wife Melissa, Abbagail Ping and husband Jason, Lucinda Pickens, Nicole Kracht and husband Keith, and Jacob Kringer and wife Taylor, ten great grandchildren - Cami Pickens, Cassidy Pickens, Chevy Pickens, Bailey Morton, Lainey Morton, Hunter Ping, Kenzie Ping, Rubylee Pate, Darius Pate and Judy Rose Kringer, and six sisters-in-law - Ruth Furlow and husband Chuck of Tamaroa, Halene Overley and husband John of Kalamazoo, MI, Shirley Millikin of Granite City, IL, Carrie Millikin of Pinckneyville, Vicki Millikin of Bozeman, MT, and Carol Millikin of Du Quoin.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 31, 2015 at the Holts Prairie Baptist Church in Pinckneyville with Bro. Ivan Plemmons officiating.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 P.M., Thursday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa and from 9 A.M. until the time of service on Friday at the church.

Burial will be in the Holts Prairie Cemetery at Pinckneyville.

Military graveside rites will be conducted by the Du Quoin V.F.W. and American Legion and the United States Navy.

Friends may make memorials to Heartland Hospice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
