Obituary for Judith Rose Richey

Judith Rose Richey, 82, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 1:15 am, Sunday, July 19, 2015 at Independence Care Center, Perryville, Missouri.

Judy was born to the late Theodore C. and Lydia A. (nee Bendel) Jones on October 11, 1932 in Chester, Illinois.

Judy was a secretary for the Chester Concrete Company, Chester, Illinois for 28 years and retired from the Gilster Mary-Lee Corporation in Chester after 6 years.

Judy was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Chester, Illinois, Parents Teacher League at St. John Lutheran School and was a member of the Red Hat Ladies in Chester.

Survivors include three daughters Jill (Keith) Lund, La Grange, TX, Joni Searles, Chester, IL, Jane (Wayne) Hawkins, La Vista, NE; four grandchildren Bryan Lund, Amy Gardner, Seth Hawkins, Emma Hawkins; five great grandchildren Michael Gardner, Gabe Gardner, Benjamin Gardner, Emily Lund and Victoria Lund; God Child Lee Ann Hollaway Bailleu, Kewanee, IL ; Nieces, Nephews Cousins and Friends.

Preceded in death by her Parents, one brother - Gene Jones and one sister - Virginia Ranft.

It was Judy's wishes to be cremated.

Memorial Service was held at 11:00 am, Tuesday, July 21, 2015 at St. John Lutheran Church, Chester, Illinois with Rev. Tim Landskroener officiating.

Interment to be held at a later date.
