Roger Dale Jones

Roger Dale Jones, 61, of Sesser, Ill., passed away Monday, Oct. 29, 2012 at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin, Ill.

He had been a mail man in Du Quoin, Ill. for 27 years. Roger was a very avid St. Louis Cardinals fan.

He was born May 22,1951 in Christopher, Ill. to Allen Jones and Dorothy Elvera(Nehrkorn) Jones of Mt.Vernon, Ill.

He is survived by one brother, Ronald L. Jones of Sesser, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister in law.

Funeral service will be Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at Brayfield-Gilbert Funeral Home in Sesser, Ill. with Brother Mark Miller officiating.

Visitation will be Saturday, Nov. 3 from 9:00 a.m. until service time at 1:00 p.m.

Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery Sesser, Ill.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Sesser Jr. Baseball and will be accepted at the funeral home.
