Legislative committee assignments announced

</element><element id="paragraph-1" type="body"><![CDATA[On Thursday, state Rep. Dan Reitz (D-Steeleville) announced his committee assignments for the 97th General Assembly. Reitz will serve as the Chairperson of the House Health Care Licenses Committee, which focuses on maintaining safe standards in the ever-changing field of health care and medicine. He also serves on the House Agriculture and Conservation, Environment and Energy, Counties and Townships, Financial Institutions, and Telecommunication committees.
