High fashion at half the price

The Du Quoin High School Indianettes held their 2013 special occasion dress sale on Sunday, March 3 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Du Quoin Middle School commons. Dozens of local and area teens browsed the high fashion for four hours on Sunday. More than 180 like new special occasion dresses were placed into the sale, promising young area women planning to attend spring proms some high fashion at an affordable price. The fee to enter was $5 per dress and $2 for flowers and shoes.

Final numbers from the fundraising event are not yet known.
