Loretta Mae Gladson of Du Quoin
<span style="font-size: small;"><span style="font-size: 10pt;">Loretta Mae Gladson, 86, of Du Quoin passed away at 2:40 a.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017, at Marshall Browning Hospital in Du Quoin.<br /> Loretta was a homemaker and had worked at Marshall Browning Hospital for 15 years as a CNA. She had also worked at Dickey Lee Donut Shop. She was of the Baptist faith.<br /> She was born Jan. 12, 1931, in Du Bois, the daughter of George and Elda (Miller) Zettler.<br /> She married Craig Eugene Gladson May 5, 1969 in Carlyle, and he preceded her in death June 22, 1969.<br /> She is survived by a daughter, Donna Kay Worley of Pinckneyville; brother Robert Zettler of Tamaroa; two sisters, Anna Mae Loucks of Sesser and Edna Morgan of Kansas City, Mo.; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<br /> She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, three brothers and one sister.<br /> <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_807_940" tabindex="0">Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 16, 2017, at Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with the Rev. Gary Darnell officiating.</span><br /> <span class="contextualExtensionHighlight ms-font-color-themePrimary ms-border-color-themePrimary ident_941_1027" tabindex="0">Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Searby Funeral Home.</span><br /> Burial will be at Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville.<br /> Friends may make memorials to the Marshall Browning Tree of Life.
