Obituary for Barbara Tiller

BARBARA V. TILLER, 83, of Chester, Illinois, passed away at 9:17 pm, Sunday, November 13, 2016 at Three Springs Lodge Nursing Home in Chester, Illinois.

She was born to Edward C. and Ola (nee Wheeling) Carnahan on August 3, 1933 in Ste. Genevieve, Missouri.

Barb married Carl Tiller on November 21, 1951 in Chester, Illinois. He survives.

She was a retired secretary at Chester City Hall.

Barb was of the Protestant faith.

Survivors include husband Carl Tiller, Chester; Three daughters - Julie (Tim) McKinney, Stillwater, Okla., Kristen (Tom) Burger, Perryville, Mo., Melissa (Ray) Kramer, Herrin; Sisters - Marie (Dewey) Wilfong, Chester, Brenda (Wayne) Ramsey, Chester; Eight grandchildren - Eric McKinney, Jaala Wallin, Ashley Furgason, Madelyn Kramer, Nolan Kramer, Scott Burger, Chris Burger, and Jeff Burger; Twelve great-grandchildren - Jordan, Taylor, Cale, Austin, Crew, Laine, Jadyn, Jackson, Avery, Lucy, Josh and Jake.

Preceded in death by parents, grandson Alex Nordmeyer, four brothers and one sister

Memorial service will be held at noon, Wednesday, November 16, 2016 at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois with Rev. Cecil Dunning officiating.

Visitation will be Wednesday, 10:00 am to noon at Pechacek-McClure Funeral Home, Chester, Illinois.

Private interment to be held at a later date.
