Erica Rochelle Hastings

Erica Rochelle Hastings, 33, of Murphysboro, passed away at 8:58 a.m. Friday, Nov. 29, 2013 at the St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.

Erica was a homemaker. She was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church in Du Quoin.

She was born March 17, 1980 at Granite City, Ill. the daughter of Tim and Tina (Million) Walker Sr.

Erica married Christopher Mark Hastings on July 17, 2012 at Murphysboro and he survives.

She is survived by her husband of Murphysboro, children- Coy Hastings, Chloe Rogers and Madison Hastings ,all of Murphysboro, her mother of Granite City and her father of Du Quoin, grandparents- Doris and Chester Neff of Du Quoin, two brothers- Tim Walker Jr. of Du Quoin and Eric Smith of Granite City, three uncles- Butch Neff of Maxwell, Neb., Rick Walker and wife Robin of Golden, Ill. and David Walker and wife Jackie of Troy, Mo., three aunts- Kelly Garcia of Du Quoin, Brenda Walker of Moscow Mills, Mo. and Lynn Leggett of Elkville, mother and father-in-law- Patsy and Tom Ridings of Murphysboro, two brothers-in-law- Jeff Hastings of Murphysboro and Eric Leinicke of Johnston City, special friends- Roger Harris and Kristen Fink and many cousins.

She was preceded in death by a brother- Johnny Million and two uncles- Terry Walker and Steve Walker.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013 at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin with Rev. Darryl Williams officiating.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Searby Funeral Home in Du Quoin.

Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Park at Du Quoin.
